Co-founder and honorary member Maus Huliselan passed away

With great sadness, the board of badminton club Van Zijderveld has learned the news that Maus Huliselan, co-founder and honorary member of our club, passed away on Saturday, August 3, at the age of 93.

The disbelief of many (former) members is great, because within a period of eight days the association has thus lost both "uncle" Maus and Rob van Zijderveld (July 26, 2024 †). Both persons stood at the cradle of our badminton association in 1971.
Maurits ("uncle" Maus) Huliselan, born in Surabaya on September 27, 1930 and living in Amstelveen had been ill for some time. The obituary remembers him as a dear husband, father, grandfather and grandi. Tired of old age and life, he passed away contentedly.

The cremation ceremony will take place privately on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Amsterdam.
