End of Lockdown: Badminton at Van Zijderveld

The Cabinet has released all indoor and outdoor sports activities in the press conference on Friday, January 14. Badminton club Van Zijderveld will start its activities immediately with a training session on Saturday, January 15 for the competition teams in the 1st-5th divisions and a free play afternoon for all members on Sunday, January 16. As of Monday, January 17, all playing times will be as we are used to at our club. For the schedule of play, please visit https://www.vanzijderveld.nl/nl/speeltijden. 

BADMINTON STARTS IMMEDIATELY

Badminton club Van Zijderveld will start its activities immediately. This means:

Saturday, January 15, from 17:30 to 19:30:
Training competition players in the 1st-5th division with the possibility to play through until 10:00 pm at the latest;

Sunday, January 16, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
Free play for members of the association;

Monday, January 17:
Start of all association activities according to the regular playing schedule.

CORONA PROTOCOL

If you are coming to play badminton, please note the following rules:

  • Show your QR code upon entry;
  • Wear a mouth mask when entering;
  • Wear a mouth mask when sitting on the sidelines;
  • Keep 1.5 m distance from each other when not on the court;
  • If you have a cold or cough, do not come;
  • Members of the public are not allowed in the sports hall.

Education, culture and sport

Secondary vocational education (MBO) and higher education (HBO and universities) can reopen for in-person learning. All indoor and outdoor sports activities and artistic and cultural activities (such as music, theatre and dance) are permitted again, but without spectators/audiences. Adults may now also take part in sports matches and competitions within their own club. People over 18 taking part in sports indoors or in artistic and cultural activities indoors and outdoors must show a coronavirus entry pass.
